Installation of an interactive projector on a brick wall
The ultra-short-throw projector is mounted directly above the blackboard. The stand has a long arm and supports the entire weight of the projector on a bracket. Even the slightest movement of the wall alters the geometry of the image. The mounting must therefore be absolutely stable.
Our team uses chemical anchor for fixing to a brick wall. It creates a secure connection to the surface and does not come loose over time. This ensures that the projector maintains its exact position and the calibration of the interactive function.
Epson EB-770Fi projector
The Epson EB-770Fi is a laser interactive projector designed for educational use. The projector offers:
- Full HD resolution of 1080p and a brightness of 4,100 lumens
- Laser light source with no need to replace the lamp
- Ultra-short throw ratio — a large image just a few centimetres across
- Interactive work with digital pens, without the need for a computer
- Three HDMI inputs, LAN and wireless connectivity
Epson ELPMB62 stand
The original wall bracket was chosen for the installation Epson ELPMB62. It is designed for the EB-700 series. Furthermore, the stand allows for fine adjustment of height, tilt and distance. The cables are routed discreetly through the arm of the stand.
The result
The Epson EB-770Fi has been precisely mounted above the whiteboard in the classroom. The image is precisely positioned within the frame of the whiteboard. The interactive function was then calibrated and tested on site. Teachers can now write directly onto the projected image using a pen.
