Installing a TCL on a brick wall is a specialised task that requires experience and the right materials. OP Systems Ltd is carrying out a project for the supply and installation of TCL 115C7K — one of the largest consumer displays on the market, with a diagonal of 115 inches and Mini LED technology.

The challenge

Installing a TCL on a brick wall covered with double-layered plasterboard is technically challenging. With a display of this size and weight, standard plasterboard screws are simply not strong enough. There is a real risk of it falling, which could cause serious damage.

To ensure maximum safety, our team uses chemical anchor — a technology that provides significantly greater load-bearing capacity compared with mechanical anchors. The chemical anchor penetrates deep into the brickwork and creates an exceptionally strong bond that can withstand a weight many times greater.

Vogel’s PFW 6900 stand

A stand was chosen for the installation Vogel’s PFW 6900 — Vogel’s flagship wall mount, designed specifically for large-format displays. The mount offers:

  • Load capacity up to 100 kg

  • Forward/backward tilt for an optimal viewing angle

  • VESA compatibility for all large formats

  • Sturdy steel construction
