When not in use, it disappears completely. The room retains its original appearance. When needed, it lowers silently at the touch of a button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-\u043a\u0430\u043a\u0432\u043e-\u0435-\u0435\u043b\u0435\u043a\u0442\u0440\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u043a\u0438-\u0435\u043a\u0440\u0430\u043d-\u0437\u0430-\u0432\u0433\u0440\u0430\u0436\u0434\u0430\u043d\u0435-\u0432-\u0442\u0430\u0432\u0430\u043d\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is a recessed electric screen for the ceiling? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this guide, we\u2019ll look at everything you need to know before making a purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Screen size<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The size is determined by the distance between the projector and the screen, and by the size of the room. The basic rule is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For small meeting rooms (up to 20 square metres) \u2014 a screen 180\u2013220 cm wide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For medium-sized conference rooms (20\u201350 square metres) \u2014 a screen 240\u2013300 cm wide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For large audiences and auditoriums \u2014 a screen wider than 300 cm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For home cinema set-ups, the aspect ratio is usually 16:9 and the screen width is 200\u2013250 cm, depending on the distance to the sofa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Type of track<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The choice of fabric depends on the lighting in the room:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Standard white canvas<\/strong> \u2014 suitable for dimly lit rooms with controlled lighting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) screen<\/strong> \u2014 blocks out ambient light and ensures a bright image even in partially lit rooms. Ideal for conference rooms that cannot be completely darkened<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Acoustically transparent fabric<\/strong> \u2014 allows speakers to be mounted behind the screen. Recommended for home cinema set-ups with a surround sound system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Tab Tension<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With built-in models, tensioning is particularly important. After being rolled up and unrolled repeatedly, a standard fabric panel may develop slight ripples. The tensioning system keeps the fabric perfectly flat every time it is unrolled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We strongly recommend that you choose a model with a drawstring in the following cases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A home cinema where picture quality is a priority<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reception areas where a wavy canvas is not acceptable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installations using an ultra-short-throw projector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Control and Automation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All built-in electric screens support various control methods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Remote control<\/strong> \u2014 standard on all models<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>12V trigger<\/strong> \u2014 Automatic lowering when the projector is switched on. Recommended for home cinema use<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>RS-232 \/ IP control<\/strong> \u2014 for integration into building automation systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Somfy motor<\/strong> \u2014 compatible with Somfy automation systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Black Top \u2014 the finishing touch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Black Top is a black strip at the top of the screen that covers the space between the ceiling and the top edge of the screen when it is unfolded. Without Black Top, a light-coloured strip remains visible.
